Always a treat to hear a rousing rendition of "You're gonna get your fucking heads kicked in" after a goal.

This is great ,like all the West Ham stuff , I suppose its a question of is there still footage of games without being wiped, and copyright KZbin always putting spanner in works , or itv or BBC fifa Uafa, for me the Jewel in the Crown would be pre Big Match ITV star soccer 65 68 era but I think not much exists or existed as the years went on , 60s Tyne Tees also ,seen bits n pieces , I know there were a fair amount covered , ITV 68 to 83 is a great site they have all the info of the history of televised football

Kenneth Wolstenholme was a really poor football commentator despite that 1966 World Cup catchphrase. I'd rather have heard Hugh Johns version of those events instead.

I thought he did the commentary on ITV ?

......Gerald Sinstadt, Martin Tyler and Gerry Harrison were all better. Then if we enlarge the choice and consider BBC commentators, then we have the likes of John Motson, Barry Davies and David Coleman.

Typical Westham Miss chance after chance and then concede. Nothings changed 😂
