That's a nice Skylark👍 they make very good cars, and they're built to last. mine's a 1977 Buick Skylark. I had two, but sadly, I ended up wrecking one of them :-(

Dude! Love this car! A 75 Skylark was my first car. It was handed down from my parents who bought it new in 75. I don't regret much, but I regret selling that car. Don't ever sell it!

my old man bought a 1973 skylark in NYC and towed it over with ropes on his rambler over the Verrazano bridge was different time the 70s he only paid $300 for it xD im rocking a 81 impala wagon now 350 5.7l love it man solid real steel none of that there fake insta rust from overseas. I just bought one myself, Original white with light blue interior, the paint needs to be redone and the front seat and dash pad needs redone but it's an original Arizona car so there's not an ouce of rust on it.

That 260 is an Oldsmobile engine. Treated right, it'll run forever, although it's not terribly powerful. Parts will be hard to find, since the car is as old as it is. You can interchange many parts from Novas, Pontiac Phoenixes and Olds Omegas; also Cutlasses, Monte Carlos and Regals. I restored a '77 Skylark years ago with parts from several cars. All I can say is 'Knock Yourself Out!'

A 75 Buick Century is my step-dads dream car. He had one that was Gold with T-tops and black vinyl landau top he bought brand new and his first wife wrecked, now that he's retired he's looking for one, never really knew how rare the t-tops were until we started looking.

First car in 1992 was 78 2 door pontiac lemans grand sport metallic sea green. Paid 700 bucks for it. Had 79k. Same Light green sage. Buckets all power everything . Had a 305 4 barrel aluminum factory intake and 350 th transmission

Yep but then again the Base Novas, Omegas, Ventura's had the Buick 3.8 V6 (231 CID) in it.... that's what was great about these cars, GM saved alot of money that way by using the best of any of the brands they had, My best Friend in High School had a 78 Nova that had the 3.8 V6 in it that I have in the 79 Buick Skylark that I just bought, the ONLY difference is that his Nova was a Burnt Orange Hatchback and my Skylark is a White but in primer now Coupe. When I first got it I called him up and after we cleaned it up we went for a ride like old times.

Apparently that is an Oldsmobile 260 ci V8 engine. According to Google you could get this car with your choice of Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile OR Chevrolet engines. Lol that is wild
