I had this very same car. Came from New Jersey and was being sold at Joe Kerley Lincoln-Mercury in San Jose. Bought it used in '79. Saginaw 4-speed with the LM-1 140 Horse 350 and a 3.08:1 one legger 10-bolt. Same grey interior and white vinyl top. My first Camaro!

In 1999 i bought a red '76 Camaro LT for $1,200. The paint was faded, but the interior was mint! It had the original 305 that had been rebuilt with a cam, intake, headers and Holley 600. The TH350 also had been rebuilt with shift kit. I daily drove that car for 11 years! They guy that ownes it now, still drives it! I misa that car.

To figure out if you have a Type LT or a Sport Coupe look at the VIN #. If the second character is an S it is a Type LT, if it is a Q it is a Sport Coupe. Since it has no Type LT emblems on the sail panels, rear panel or horn button I suspect it's a Sport Coupe but it does have the gauge package which was standard on the Type LT but an option on the Sport Coupe and the best engine available on the '75 Camaro, the 350/4bbl/4 speed. Great score guys.

I just bought a factory red 75 Sport coupe,a rolling body more or less.The 155 HP 350 is gone but no big loss. I've got a 220 HP 283 I'm rebuilding with a few extras like a Edelbrock carb and intake, a set of Hooker headers. And a 30/30 Duntov grind cam so it should run a little better than the puny motor it came with. Trying to find a posi rear set up with something like a 4:11 or 3:50 ratio so it can move out a little better. These 75s are kinda hard to find considering they made 145,000 of them.

If it was a Type Lt it would have had a decorative panel in between the tail lights and the horn button would have said type Lt,you got a nice project car they made 151,000 Camaro's that year they didn't have the Z28,to bad this wasn't a rally sport which was really a decal and stripe package which only 7,000 had this option

Sport coupe! Interior is standard, no LT tags or evidence of them. No anodized trim panel on tail light panel
@HaroldVigil-t1w2 ай бұрын
The anodized trim plate on the rear panel did not become an option until 1976. Also a standard interior would have given you warning lights instead of gauges. An indication on the car in this video that it's a Type LT is the bezel around the front grille, the hood edge molding by the windshield, the park lamp decorative bezels, and the woodgrain dash bezel.
