Thanks for posting this! I recently moved to South Carolina from Georgia and was shocked how big the classic/antique scene is out here.. literally feel like I’m learning how to tint all over again

Thanks appreciate it. Takes alot of practice and I've done so many old cars and trucks it becomes a little bit easier for me over time

@@blackoutkustomz5503 Yes thanks on the soap tip . How do you not get dirt on the bottom when you're cutting the tint inside the truck
@blackoutkustomz5503 Жыл бұрын
@JBIRD575 search on here on KZbin (glue method window tint) there's a video by solar Control and ace window tint that explains using clear Elmer's around the edges on old cars to control dirt I didn't do it on this truck but I usually clean the windows and seals a couple times but even then cutting on the inside is still gonna pull some dirt. If its just specks then I usually leave it but if I get clumps of dirt like in the video then I'll redo it

@@blackoutkustomz5503 ok for sure I tried the the glue method last week Just in the bottom of an old truck works Good kinda messy though...

@JBIRD575 Yes, it does get messy. With any older cars, I always let the costumer know not to expect perfection and that there will be a few specks here and there.

What soap do you use for installation
@blackoutkustomz5503 Жыл бұрын
I use baby shampoo, The darker looking one. There is one that is lighter shade but doesn't work as good

Is that a sheet of plexy glass as a cutting board?
@blackoutkustomz55032 жыл бұрын
Yes it is but I replaced it with a glass now. The plexiglass was chipping off and I kept getting some pieces in the tint
