How are these Forgotten Songs if you grew u in the 70's you know everyone of these songs. Bohemian Rhapsody hasn't been forgotten since it came out. All of these songs were on the they just turned 40 list and next year will be on the they just turned 50 list. When The Captain and Tennille got divorced they played that song everytime is was reported. Someone just did a documentary on Philadelphia Freedom and the relationship between Elton John and Billie Jean King. When Bowie died Fame was everywhere. Putting One of These Nights, Lying Eyes and Shining Star on this list is just some Jive Talking. Growing up in Philly I know we didn't listen to country music so I am guessing that John Denver was just so loved by everyone that his songs crossed over into the pop stations because I remember Rhinestone Cowboy and Thank God I'm a Country Boy.

Songs that STILL receive radio play TODAY are NOT forgotten that's for sure! What is forgotten is much of today's copy and paste sound alike rap crap!

I was 18 in 1975. My best friend loved Love Will Keep Us Together. I hated that song. I hated everything Captain and Tennille came out with.
