I've had the pleasure of witnessing Miller on the TL250 competing and winning many times in the mid to late 1970's. My friends who were riding Montesa and Ossa who were very good riders regarded Miller and his Honda as their arch nemesis.

Excellent - thanks for the comments! Yes they are great all-around bikes and OK for trials too, although frankly I think the TL125 is more competitive, unless there are any climbs that require a bit more power. Check out my shorts too, there's at least one video of me fooling around on the TL250 in my 'turn' practice section.

Fun to ride for sure. Wish it had been better for actual competition, but as it is coming up on 50 yrs old, I guess I'm happy with it as is.

Have two of these . Had one when new . Is that a xr l85 front wheel on there?

Oh man you have a good eye! Yes it is. I split the stock DID rim and rather than lace up a new wheel, I used one from the 185. Works well so...

A very nice motorcycle. Since I have a CRF 250, I wonder if she inherited any of these genes?

I think the motors are very, very different. This is based on the 70s-era XL250 motor.

I have this bike not sure the exact year but could you give me any info on where to get some parts
@wakinossin7 ай бұрын
Well they're not the easiest. Some parts are still available from Honda, so check your dealer. Others are generic items, like bearings and oil seals. Then there are places in the UK that have various things, like FEKED and InMotion Trials. Those are good places to start.
