Nicely done! Question on the seat backs. They appeared pretty scratched up prior to refinish. Did you do anything special to remove the scratches before paint?

The ENTIRE video I was hoping he’d ditch the slush box for a 4 or 5 speed, why did people ruin these things with autos 😢

In my opinion, autos are for women and oldies, manual is for real men... With Manual you feel the car; you play with the car as you want. Autos are like scooter; accelerate and brake.... When I see ppl driving, shelby gt500/350s & hellcats with slush box, it literally kills me or make me mad... xD

I totally agree with you on the health problem and drag part. But i feel (in my opinion ofc), that when young person (male ofc) using auto and boast around; "am a pro driver, i do this and that" and drives an automatic, I want to go and slap them in their face literally telling them to understand the real feel of driving a car is use a manual car and them come and boast around. And hands up for your dad, i respect old car guys that drives a manual, bcoz at their old age and still driving a manual is literally a boon dude. You lucky you have a dad like that. My dad didnt drive a car since the day he got married to my ma. I wish i would asked him what to do and not to do when driving manual. RIP your dad brother should've have been a great driver wished i could meet someone like this and ask him a few about the manual cars. Anyways peace

1. parts breakage esp if >500 hp 2. very difficult to shift a manual as fast as an auto 3. health/back problems 4. laziness :-) The main advantage (to me) with a manual is being able to vary slippage. With a torque converter, its always a compromise what stall speed you settle on.
