Some early cine film shot by my parents and myself.
The first section was our first ever trip on an HST in 1976 to Bristol.
The clip of the 40 at Hatfield was taken by my Dad. Although I used to go out with him while he was working during the school holidays, on this occasion I don't think I was with him!
The section at Peterborough was also taken by my Dad and again I'm sure I wasn't there. Unfortunately he had a problem with his cine camera as you'll see from the 'ghosting' in some of the shots. Clearly it didn't like Deltics much as the 31 is shot ok!
The next section at Welwyn Garden City is a few years later and I filmed this with my Mum's cine camera.
The black Labrador belonged to my parent's neighbour. She was called Peppy. Also note the magenta Hillman Hunter!
Finally are a few shots at Totnes in the May of 1978, filmed by my Mum, while on a family holiday in Devon.

You can’t beat a bit of cine action. Thoroughly enjoyed this. I noticed a busy Swindon works too. I was there there yesterday in its guise as a shopping centre!

Very good. At Bristol you can see the post office buildings as was, now its a eyesore.

I wouldn't want to be in an air conditioned Mk2 if the loco was a 47/3.

Hi Neil. I don't know I'm afraid. This section was filmed by my Dad and unfortunately he concentrated on the 31.

@@dswarner1571 oh well, that's a pity. Never saw one of them when they were in service.
