Apparently the haters didn't watch the whole video. It was a $400 import junker that didn't run when they got it for the production. For his to restore it not only back to its movie appearance, but also get it somewhat running, even if badly, is actually pretty cool. I love that he left the taillight busted. Nice touch.

Me too. I’m going to have to watch that movie again and pay really close attention to the cars. I went to Universal Studios in 1994 and the team went by some of the “2015” cars from BTTF 2. I could tell one was a Ford Probe.

sort the car out then you'll have a 635csi and a movie car, these cars have decent running gear and can do 0-60 in less than 8 seconds, I also suggest you strengthen it quickly because the roof is missing

Ok keeping the outside looking that way is fine, but fix the damn engine, trans, suspension. I owned one of these (79 gray market 633csi) and half my frame was rust and bondo and it at least ran correctly. The german writing all over everything made it fun to figure out what the hell something did sometimes.
