True banner I bought Chevy van new in 1979 customized it and 400 thousand miles later in 2009 I sold it ,because of a move and regretted it ever since.

I really like that sitting area/bed. It looks so inviting. I like how on a cool evening, you could open the rear doors to expand the view and allow fresh air in. Sometimes i think the bed areas are bit cocoon-like and for me a bit too dark and claustrophobic. That's just me though, to each their own. Very enjoyable video. I'm saving this as i consolidate ideas for my own van conversion later this year.

Love the van. Not trying to be negative but those nose protectors (or car bras) do more harm than good. I had one on an 81 Honda Prelude, my first car and not only did it scratch the paint, it caused the clear coat to crack. I guess from where the felt backing held moisture.

I would agree if it were on a daily driver, but since this is not daily driven and I take it off and clean and wax under it constantly, there is no paint damage. Plus it really does protect the hood well on those long trips to the NATZ! That is also a true LeBra brand, which considering it's been on there since 1990, it's held up remarkably well!

Yes and I have a LaBra that was the first thing I bought in 83 for my 83 Dodge and I never go anywhere with out it. Especially over 1k miles. It has never left a mark on my van. I have talked to many others that use LeBra on their vans and they don't have a problem either. Maybe on some other makes they are larger and move around but on a van they are tight to the hood and don't move around.

My car had been repainted. I don't know if because the paint was thicker and caused it to haze or what. Plus it was clear coated. Could have just been the paint my cousin used. I just had a bad experience with these Le bras.

How many original miles? 35 yo Dodge van with no major engine or transmission work? Did this year come with seat belts? I hope one day soon we see EV vans with no transmissions and regenerative braking with a body and stance like this.
