I also looked at the Google Street View, happy to see the building still exists - but, the glass pane they stupidly threw the brick into, looks different from the rest. They had to use “modern” plate glass to replace it, and it’s not the same as the old ones, which have wavy glass. Stupid gimmick.

BBC 'Nationwide' presenter Glyn Worsnip, also of 'That's Life!' fame, had a background in acting - which may explain a lot here. Let me tell all sceptics that I know they exist as I lived in a house with one, as a teenager then, I used to have my guitar next to my bed, one night each string played individually as if to taunt me, I was petrified, I used to get whispering in my ear, it was a big old house with 3 floors my bedroom was at the top, our dog when we moved in would never go up to that floor not even if you pushed, he would growl and shoot straight back. One night the light in the toilet had been left on by mistake, and at around 2am a massive explosion was heard which brought the whole family to find out what the hell it was, the toilet seat was completely smashed and anyone would have hade serious injuries if not death had they been on it, the light bulb had exploded too. I know first hand because I EXPERIENCED it so no one can tell me otherwise.
