Thank you from SA Texas! Listener, viewer, since 2001. I NEVER tire of the older, single episodes, over and over. They keep me company at bedtime. When Sir Tony left series 20, that was the last. 🐈

Mick and his striped sweater. I miss him and the old team. They were so comfortable with each other. The new team doesn't have the same comradary but I still like the series.

Easter is near the best little seaside town in Britain called Deal, with its centuries of history, three castles, pier and time ball tower, wonderful people, good shopping and excellent restaurants, pubs and accommodation for short visits or longer visits, there isn’t a better place to holiday and use Deal as a base to explore further a field in South East Kent as there is so much to see and do within easy reach by car or public transport, bus or train. With the train from Deal or Walmer railway stations travel to places like London or even further a field is easy even travel to the continent is easy from Dover by Car Ferry or from Folkestone by channel tunnel, a fantastic memorable time could be had with a stay at the wonderful small seaside town of Deal! Thank you, 👍👊.

Ends with a Francis Pryor episode, a man stuck on worshiping ancestors and ritual. Claims bronze age roundhouses faced the rising sun so the occupants can worship the ancestors. Or for anyone that's not fixated on rituals and worshiping ancestors like Francis is they face the rising sun so in the morning the interior of the roundhouse is well lit with natural light from the sun so the waking occupants can find their shoes and be able to lace them while using their eyes to see what they are doing rather than fumble about in the dark doing everything by touch. Then once out of bed they can get the central hearth burning before the sun is no longer shining inside through the doorway so they have light to see until they are asleep and the fire finishes the last log. They face east for the morning light as preferred houses face east to this very day for the same purpose, sunlight lighting the room so one can see when they get up in the morning. Nothing at all to do with ancestors or rituals, just the ability to see what you are doing. It also helps if you go to bed early, you don't have that pesky sunlight keeping you awake by making your closed eyes see light red/dark pink as the light penetrates your eyelids. Ofcourse Francis would claim some sort of ancestor worship ritual for that as well. But what you one expect from someone that worships his ancestors but projecting that worship onto his ancestors. Otherwise called I think he is full of crap and never invited to a dig. He is clearly biased.
