Hey there Mark, thanks for the video. I’m considering rebuilding my 1975 Pat hand coin stepper. It’s completely locked up. At the 10 minute mark of your video, you mention replacing the “sleeve” but I’m not entirely sure what part of the coil you are referring to or where to get a replacement. Would you mind responding with any additional details? Thanks so much!

Coil sleeve. They can be purchased from your local pinball supplier. There are 2 different sizes (used on basically all Williams EM games) 03-7066 and 03-7066-1

@@MarksBasementArcade thanks for the sleeve part number Mark! One more potentially stupid question if you don’t mind me asking: my machine suddenly started blowing the fuse to the back glass which wasn’t happening prior to me doing some manual exploratory on the coin stepper. About a year ago I had a local pin tech come out to work on the machine and he replaced “some” of my back lights with LED…namely the score reel lights only and some of the top play field one, probably 10% of the total lights and he was having the fuse in the top fuse slot continually blowing. Not sure what he did to finally fix it but it’s now happening again. I’m not even sure if the fuses that are in the slots are the proper amp fuses or not so I’m going to get more fuses based on the slot sticker and replace them all later today. I’ve also got a full set of LED lights coming so I won’t have mixed incandescent and LED. Not sure if that has anything to do with them blowing or not. I doubt it since they were working fine until I messed with my frozen stepper. Eventually I will try to rebuild it but that’s in my near future. Any videos you can point me to related to fuses?
