Factory 440 trucks are rare as hell. I wouldn't mind tripping over a standard cab one... Hey *Tom* , quick question - whose new drum brake linings do you guys use on your restorations? I'd about kill to find some 11x3 and 11x2.5 that were made in the asbestos days. - Ed on the Ridge

Well nobody makes the asbestos pads anymore, illegal to make. We have a stash of nos ones that stay here. Couple companies reline them, just used a company called CH something in California so do the pads on my brothers 1969 Dodge Charger 500, disc brake car and nobody is making the 4 piston disc brake pads right now.

I had a 72 like that with a 318 and it could hardly push its own weight. Wanted to make a ramp truck out of it but gave up the idea. Thoughts of grandeur I guess and I was a broke ass 20yr old with a 69 charger a 70 charger and a 72 roadrunner I could hardly keep gas in much less race lol
