For sale is a 1977 Porsche 911 that has a steel wide body conversion on it. This vehicle has been in the same family since the 1980s. It was completely dismantled about 15 years ago, everything was either powder coated or anodized. They had the steel flares done after that a complete window out paint job at a local shop they were friends with in the Bay Area. The engine and transmission were completely out during that time. They rebuilt the engine, then painted and polished everything before reinstalling. It is powered by its original 2.7L that was bored out to about a 2.8L mated with its original 915 transmission. The gentleman who built it and owned it for the longest time passed away about 12 years ago and it was given to his nephew. His nephew was a mechanic his whole life who lived in Hollister, he just retired this year and sold it to fund his other projects. Cosmetically the car is in the condition shown in the video! Please watch that in full. Mechanically it runs and drives well. It has about 127K miles. New tires. Little TLC here and there is always necessary for a car of this age. The engine sounds healthy, and has plenty of power. The 915 transmission shifts excellently. Suspension, brakes, and clutch all feel good. Clean CA title.
