I think he'd be great with a few other prominent youtubers if they resurrect Top Gear. If they do, ditch the forced laddish BS, make it about the cars again and make it fun to be about the cars. Just discovering this months later, and Jane w/her cars (and dogs) is my hero. It's one thing to preserve cars in a museum to show and teach the public, but what she said here about collectors: 7:20 "They go from investor to investor, and they never leave a garage..." It's sort of like keeping horses in stables, never letting them out to pasture or run.

Needless to say the chat was just regular car nerd stuff, no private jets of luxury car transporters. Jane had reported "bit of wheelpin in 3rd and 4th" to her expert mechanics from Don Law racing @donlawracing8577. They asked if that was "back in the summer" and were (apparently) horrified to hear it was today, in pi$$ing rain at the NEC. The BMW 2002 is really a car you don't fully appreciate until you've driven one. I bought one to have something a bit more fun - have something for *me* for once instead of just something practical - and I've fallen deeply in love with her. And as a bit of a tall girl who hits her head on big bumps in most cars, I can confirm that they're surprisingly roomy. First car in years that I haven't bonked my head getting in and out of. Mine's a '75, and her stablemate is an '88 Volvo 240. Some previous owner at some point converted her to a pair of DCOE 40s and she's just an absolute blast this way.
