1977 Sears Tractors Overview

Daddy got a ‘77 that was repossessed and sent back to Sears. He bought it in Rome, Ga in 1978. It was a 14/6. We mowed and hauled and rode that thing until Daddy got an ‘87 brand new. Man, we and the neighborhood kids learned to drive on that beast! Love the video..what I wouldn’t do to come and ride on one.😎

Going to put the 22 hp predator in my magnatrac this winter. Can’t beat the price and should make the little dozer unstoppable🙂. Beautiful yard and nice collection of classics tractors.

I'm looking at buying a 66 sears custom 6 it comes with a mower deck and a 3 point hitch i was wondering if I have to use sears exclusive 3 point. attachments or if I could use other brands of 3 point attachments?

I'm not aware of any others that will work. I have custom made several attachments for mine...

Let me know if you find a deck for one of these I have a Sears 12/6 but I don't have the deck the bearings blew and my grandfather chucked it

That is a Nice Collection GP !!!!!!!I have a question for you , what and where did you find a double pulley for the Predator conversion to run the mule drive for the deck ??

I am using the factory pully off the 10hp briggs that was blown up on the Predator 420 - I used 2 pullys side by side on the diesel when I ran a deck on it. Got them from tractor supply....

I want to do a Predator swap , but I want to use the V-Twin Vangaurd knock off , about 700 dollars , that much I almost want to do a diesel swap .

I thought about that too but was concerned about it fitting... I like my diesel but replacement parts may ne hard to get... but so far I haven't needed any...

I've done some measuring , it would be tight , and need a little trimming on the hood , so I would keep the original hood and try to ebay an SS16 hood to cut on .I'm sure it could be done , and if the hood would work out and look decent I think it would be a nice tractor .
