Right!! It is not often you find a brown color on a truck that looks amazing like this one.

Nice truck! They had Explorer Packages A, B, C, and D. Package A is basically stripes and emblems, with a nice interior. No mechanical changes. Package B was the same as A, with the addition of power steering and the Cruise-o-Matic auto trans. Look like this truck is a Package B Explorer as I see power steering and the 3 speed auto. Package C was the same as B, with the addition of A/C, factory tinted window glass, sometimes even cruise control among other things. Package C is the most desirable, as it's the "loaded" Explorer with all the creature comforts. Package D is the same as C, but with an added truck topper.

Mine has dual fuel tanks. It's a 79 ranger explorer. But maroon in color. Same strip package

Mine is 78 with the same color and same stripes, but it’s a 2nd 6cylinder 3 speed manual in the column , it has power steering but no ac

My grandfather, my mother's dad, had one he bought brand new that looked like the one in the video. With the info that Mr. wreckful just gave us, my grandfather's truck was in the C category, being that his had a/c, PB, and ps, 3 so auto trans, and 302 engine. The truck in this video brings back many good memories.
