Will never forget the first time I saw a Canary Yellow 1200 in NoVa in 1977. Looked like a toy, so small compared to US Iron at the time...but 45 mpg vs 9 or 11 was a big selling point when gas went from 35cents to $1.

Slowest Honda..? I bought one just like it back in 1978 (same color scheme but a manual transmission and no A/C). With barely 1000 miles on it I took it up to the mountains of North Carolina on a Saturday morning and just to see how fast it would go I floored it. Just me driving and a passenger in the front seat I got it up to 99 miles per hour before being pulled by NC Highway Patrol.
