Lovely example❤ Thanks for posting. Always wanted one and finally bite the bullet and got one, spent too much probably. Learning stuff online, loads of fun riding and wrenching.

Awesome, friend has one I’m buying for $500 complete so I can’t pass it up. Been sitting for a few years and will need to do the carbs so this was perfect. I have found that it I ran vacuum tubes through empty & sealed 2 liter bottle then to gauge it stopped the flutter on the gauge. Thank for the great video.

Yeah, I don’t have too much room for more bikes but I wouldn’t mind fitting this one in!

Nice work. Beautiful old bike. And worth a lot of cash in the current market.... even in SW Minn the used bike prices have risen by 20% the last 18mo.

I was just thinking about the three old bikes in my dad’s shed…probably worth dragging them out now. Thanks for watching.

Fantastic machine. I have a Carbtune II Pro, and to stop the gauges bouncing it has inserts in the rubber hoses which narrow the lines.

Yeah, this mercury stick has little filters in the lines but maybe they are degraded because I’ve owned it for 25-30 years.

It's easy taking carburetor out, pulling air box, losen screws and pulling back less than 10 minutes. It's out in your hand you make sound like it's defecult. This is the easiest motorcycle work on hope. Rest the viewer read this and make it happen.🤙

It’s not bad, but it’s also not the most simple thing either. Not everyone has done this job before either.

@TomsTinkeringandAdventures but I can say this it doesn't get any easier working on any machine 🤭

@@st-qd8wg for a four cylinder bike this is pretty good. Air cooled singles are way easier, though.

It's on the dry side, between the removable piece and the rubber diaphragm. Hope this helps 👍

Man that was one sweet example of a single cam that paint work looked flawless I’d be surprised if those pipes r original gee I think my old XJ 650 ones were rotted in less than 20000miles what oil would u run in that old bike I know it’s that age old question I’ve got an fz750 yam that’s nearly 40 yo and I run it on semisynthetic because I like the new technology of these oils but an old single cam might get clutch slippage I guess one of the forums would b a gd source of info keep up the mint work

I don’t know about the pipes, I’m the bike ride was a Southern California example with low miles so maybe they are original. I put Shell Rotella T 15W40 conventional in my stuff, that’s what went in the Honda as well.
