I have one as well. I absolutely love it. And I'm the original owner from the 70's :-)

It certainly has a a nice crisp double pickup sound! It would be good to hear the neck and bridge tones? Don't tease us Greg!!!

That's a bargain! It was originally more expensive and rare.

@foutoconnard4510 greco egf 1800 is said to be equal if not better than a gibson 59 les paul. made in a japan early 80s and currently selling for 10k, if you can find one. Sounds real to me.

@@jerry-st7rc gibson of the 1970s were plywood. greco copied that plywood crap.

@foutoconnard4510 Grecos top model, the egf 1200 and 1800, used a solid piece flame maple top just like the 1959. AND they used Honduran mahogany bodies and brazilian rosewood fretboards. The dry z pickups were on par if not argubaly better than the original 59s. Greco made tons of lower end model les pauls which you are referring too. Their top models are rare and very expensive. Take a look for yourself on KZbin, greco egf 1200 and 1800. It's hard to even call them replica models.
