About halfway along in the tenure of Les Moss as Tigers' Manager. Dick Tracewski handled a couple of games until Sparky Anderson took over. I got a message to Ernie and Paul at the end of my wife's and my honeymoon in '91 at Yankee Stadium, by the time I could call the radio station where I worked to try and get it recorded, they had already mentioned it on the air and Paul made sport of a John Smith having to check into hotels. I heard about that for a month after!

Listened to the whole cut, savoring the Paul Carey postgame show. What he was able to do with ticker tape, in terms of summing up daily MLB action throughout his career is astounding.

This, of course is also Thurman Munson's last year, which came to mind as I listen. I hear Bob Reynolds on a public service style announcement at 1:04:19, five years later I was running the board for his final year of football play by play, for Michigan State on WILS in Lansing.

I’d really like to know why there isn’t any baseball radio broadcasts online from the mid to late 1980’s or later? Must be MLB won’t allow any of it and I don’t understand why? It all happened 30-40 years ago
