Best 3 years of Baseball in Montreal 1979-1980-1981. Finished "oh so slightly" behind the eventual champs every one of those years.

Best win-lose Expos record Expos in 1979: 95-65 Unfortunately eight (8) doubleheaders in September lead to some splits; Bullpen stretched out to the point so position players were used. Like 1970 when shortstop Hector Torres pitched an inning in relief - Bob Bailey also pitched intentional walks for Joe Sparma a pitcher who could not throw an intentional walk!
