I was at game 2 with my father.....love my father...he is in heaven now.....that is what sports are all about.....memories with your loved ones..

That's what sports USED to be about. Now sadly it's all about $$, strikes, unions, free agency, etc. My dad took me to my first MLB game in 1973. The Angels played Texas. I still remember the sensation I felt when I walked up the tunnel and saw the greenest grass I've ever seen in my life. My dad also took me to the Rams v Redskins 1974 NFC divisional playoff, my first Laker- Celtic game, The 1974 USC Notre Dame game. The game SC down 24 zip ran off 55 straight points with Anthony Davis going wild. !!

You have completely covered every back story of my Childhood. THANK YOU! Grew up in Pittsburgh, while US Steel was dying.......the Buccos won the World Series TWICE....in '71 and '79 and the Steelers won 4 superbowls...... .that Union, set for life Steel job was never going to be there for me.......but Pittsburgh , in that Era, taught me what it takes to win!

I cherish my trips east to Pittsburgh to visit that wonderful city and to see 'my' Lumber and Lightning Buccos, soaking in the City of Champions. Getting to see where my 'North Side' Grandfather grew up and see his stories come to life was special. Great we also got to attend SB XIV together.

Plus the Angels had some legendary players as well. Rod Carew one of the best all-time players to ever pick up a bat. Rod Carew was one of my favorite batters. He had some insanely high batting averages. He wasn't a homerun threat like Eddie Murray or Reggie Jackson, but Rod Carew was unbelievably talented at base hits, doubles, and triples occasionally. I was so so lucky. I was able to see him play live at Milwaukee County🏟Stadium🏟. Those days were some of the best memories I have. These games bring some of them back. Thanks again.

Thanks for all these enhanced broadcasts Dave. I'm on a vintage baseball kick but I do love football too, I'll have to watch some too. Great work. Now I've seen all the 70s World Series games, so it's time to watch the ALCS/NLCS and regular season games!!!

Thank you again sir! Once again you picked a perfect game. I've said before, that I grew up in Milwaukee during the 70's and the Milwaukee Brewers were my favorite team. But I also liked and/or admired other players and/or... teams. The Orioles were one of those teams. Jim Palmer, Eddie Murray, Ken Singleton, Cal Ripken Jr. and others. I absolutely loved ⚾️Baseball⚾️ especially during the 70's. I was playing Little League and I loved every single minute of it. These games bring back some really special memories. Thank you once again for sharing these games and sharing your talents. God Bless you.

Baseball players that looked like baseball players. No bat flipping, gold chain wearing, or elbow protectors. Daytime playoffs between 2 division winners....no watered down wildcard system A pitcher completing a game A ballpark not pasted with ads everywhere Celebrating without wearing goggles The good old days

A very energetic crowd at the Big A! Can’t help but notice though the lack of team apparel besides seeing a few Angels caps in the stands. Team shirts & replica jerseys must’ve been hard to find or wearing them just wasn’t a thing back then.

That type of apparel didn't come along until well into the 80s.

O’s game 4 starter courtesy of the impetuous George Steinbrenner. Traded McGregor , Martinez and Dempsey for a bucket of baseballs and 1/2 a season of lefty relief pitcher Grant Jackson in June of 1976. George traded away a few pennants that day

There were some great AL/NLCS games that first decade plus of divisional play that should have been preserved. Still hoping for a non edited original broadcast of 1979 ALCS Game 3 rather than the edited 'replay' we have. Among many other on my 'wish list".
