I had a 79 with a stock 360/4 barrel config and it was the fastest "truck" I've ever felt. Overloaded it with pallets of tile and launched it up Parley's Canyon which is a major uphill canyon from Salt Lake City to Park City, UT many times and it had no trouble. Was the fastest van in the fleet, so I was always the first guy to arrive at every job site. Never broke down and left me stranded. No catalytic converter to randomly drain my life savings. Eventually (~29 years old) the driver's side rear leaf spring mount rusted out and broke, and the chassis was too rusty to weld a fix, so it was totaled by that rusted bracket after 8 years of epic service for me. It was a rusty old "junker" when I bought it off a lot for $1200. A buyer still bought it for $600 after it was totaled cause the drive-train was still in great shape. Oil pressure gauge flew up to the "H" right when the engine started. Was cheap and easy (and fun!) to fix and maintain. If you can find one in this condition, instabuy!

Dude it has 122K not 22K miles. It doesn't go higher than 5 digits and a registration in 1992 showed 52K miles. Stop it. Get some help.
