I have bread van that I converted to a stealth camper too. With the same idea of an outward appearance of a construction vehicle, with a fictitious company name, ABC Contracting and Consulting. My van got broken in to a couple of times, by people looking for construction tools. So I changed the name to, ABC Sewage and Septic Services. Nobody has broken in to it since.

Sorry that happened. My brother in laws work truck was broken into and all tools stolen. Very expensive loss for him. And it was around the covid Era. He was devastated. We all got together and each gave money to him. He eventually repayed everyone. His company is doing well and he had a baby girl. How precious. He went through struggle but he has overcome💕 maybe you should be featured on this channel? I'd love to see more of these vans.

My Daddy drove a sandwich truck "Made Right" for several years; he actually bought one years later and we converted it into a camper! It slept 6 people, had a fridge, stove, dinner table, sink and lots of storage (this was in the 80's). We used it mainly for going to craft fairs. My Memom (his mother) earned most of her income by making things to sell at fairs. Wonderful memories 💖

When he crawled into his garage area and was able to sit up I was like "whooooa that is so cool" and he still had a lot of extra room to store more stuff. Nice, neat & very well organized. Awesome idea with the extension ladders. I do wish he would've elaborated a little on what the fabrication/covering material is on the roof. Looks very durable. Maybe not. There's a big theft industry around construction, and vehicle break-ins are the most common opening fir that. Bad guys drive around looking for marked trucks and vans and things like this knowing how to get in quickly. They might be surprised to not find tools but they'll take what they can get and be rolling away within 3 minutes with everything they can grab. Should have left it looking like a bakery truck or a catering truck; stealth remains without indicating easy value for thieves is on board.

Very well executed build. The only way the stealth mode could be improved upon would be a Klingon cloaking device. I believe that it's usually common practice to install/locate all of the propane lines and tank ahead of the tire whenever possible. A 10+ ply tire shows zero mercy when the steel belts turn into weed whacker lines that destroy everything within reach before you can get stopped

Great tip! Something I wouldn't have thought about even though I've seen tires let loose on big rigs and it's a scary thing.

With those jump seats being sideways, the effectiveness of the seatbelt will be diminished, there will be no head/neck support to arrest the whipping motion of your head in an impact, and said head is quite likely to bounce off the adjacent wall and potentially cause a regrettable injury. May I take the liberty of suggesting a front facing arrangement? Also all of those cupboards would empty out and the contents would turn into missiles in an accident. A physical latching system would be advisable for when you are in motion.

I love that garage!! It makes this rig all the better to have somewhere to work on things especially if the weather is bad. Very nice build Kevin.
