I have a Gottlieb Countdown in my collection with the original MPU board. The Pascal MPU board is really a nice upgrade in your machine. I like all the extra features it gives a Gottlieb Countdown game and am considering installing one in my Countdown. Thanks for the great video!

I have a count down that is in very good shape. Also bought it very very cheap ,400 euros. I have performed all the upgrades on the original boards. But i am constantly in fear that something will burn up eventually. Do you recommend that custom board? I fear that maybe in 5 years even that board could be not manufactured anymore. But it will cost the same as the pin unfortunately.

Yep not a bad idea to buy one! Especially if you dont know how to fix boards or have a board repair guy!

Too bad someone with extensive programming skills with pinball. Can reprogram those beeps and boops and mimic the synthesizer part. To the song The final countdown by Europe. Na nanaanna sorry I can't word that part right.. that when you start a new game those beeps and Boots mimic the synthesizer part of the song. If anyone's familiar with that song you know It.
