Every single television sign-off is beautiful and this KPNX Channel 12 sign-off is no exception. Freedom of speech, religious freedom, easy access to news and communication. The television broadcasting systems in the United States set the standards high for the entire world. This was true back in 1979 and it still holds true to this very day.
This recording was originally broadcasted on September 02, 1979 in Phoenix Arizona. It was recorded onto a Sanyo V-120 V-CORD2 format video cassette with a 1976 Sanyo model VTC -8200 VCR.

When we used to live in Arizona, 9 years after our move from Indiana, we remember watching this KPNX sign-off in 1979 for the NBC Mesa-Phoenix affiliate, and we'll remember Peters Communications "It's All Right Here" music theme as were a slogan and image campaign for Gannett owned stations, and on "America Today" in 1988 for PBS stations between programs, the same music theme returned.
