This is LITERALLY THE LAST TRUE LINCOLN TOWNCAR FOREVER. The downsizing and rounding out of corners etc starts in 1980. I remember it well for in 80 I was 12 and these were/ are my favorites of all time for the simple fact that I grew up with thess gorgeous cars. And the absolute last years 77-79 tha. t Detroit ACTUALLY BUILT CARS how we wanted them and not the soulless crappola they shove down our gulletts now. Well not this Veteran , I buy these late 70s cars and wish maybe someday Detroit will actually start building what WE want in an vehicle. You know the people with the money, IDK maybe I read that somewhere !!!!!
