i love Millthorpe, i could live there. I was blown away by your shout out, it really has made my day and totally unexpected. Thank you so much. I totally understand you having to keep your work life private but now I'll call you, Patrick Leach, international man of mystery😁 It was a really scenic walk and i loved the sign lol. You cannot beat a good walk that's quiet too. Really enjoyable and thanks once again for the mention. You're looking very well. Cheers

You are welcome Kelly, very glad you give you the shout out. Yes I do have to watch what I say when talking about more personal stuff when I know the video will be posted on KZbin. That sign was great, wasn't it! I did a double-take when I saw that! 😁 Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks as always for watching and commenting 👍

So lovely to see the sunny views along your walk from Millthorpe and varied terrain. I'm usually a few months behind with the seasons on our walks too, but March looked very summer. Soothing gentle instrumental & guitar solo music melody line. Liked the piano bits in between. Never noticed different areas in the Peak District so helpful for explainations.

Morning Shanita, glad you enjoyed the views. It was a very summery day from what I recall for March. Pleased you enjoyed my music again. It's actually a song I composed years ago, and I recorded another instrumental version of it in a much earlier video. Thanks as always for watching and commenting 👍

Hi Patrick, thank you again for a most enjoyable walk, its places we have never visited, it looked a bit muddy under foot but you had a nice sunny day. We noticed that once you hit the open fields that you were truly the solitary rambler. 🙂take care Dave & Jean.

Patrick, nice PEACEFUL terrain walk, have not seen a police car on your walks, when I was walking in holmforth, I met a police woman on a farm road, she her job was to walk her beat all of holmform, she reported to Huddersfield, one cop for all holmforth, she told very quiet lately, however the night before, had to give a citation for a noisy argument, I have just finished half of six mile walk, having a coffee at Starbucks, I seen already a dozen police cars how different our walks are, your nice villages countryside walks, mine city streets with nice residential 1900 houses mix 2000 era homes, that you have to be impressed with it's mansion style architecture, some blocks you are awed by several on one block zig zag down side streets, you see something different most of time Keep trekking

Nice to see Spring appearing with the daffodils in full bloom, Patrick. Another part of North East Derbyshire that I've never been to before, this looks a most beautiful and scenic part of the county. It was sad to know that the young pilot had been killed in that Meteor aircraft back in the 1950s. There's some lovely woodlands in the area as well as the river which flows through, sounding really peaceful. Many thanks for this video showing, Patrick.

I love the spring due to the flowers blossoming, great time of year. The area around Dronfield is pretty indeed, close to the Peak District and Sheffield. Yes a moving memorial regarding the pilot. Glad you enjoyed it Ffranc, thanks for watching 👍

That was a grand walk Patrick. Never been to Millthorpe but wrote a little article on the Meteor jet accident in one of my books `Hell on High Ground` back in 1995. Good to see that memorial for the pilot in the village. Might have to have a wander that way sometime. Did you park in Millthorpe? Thanks again for sharing your walks and making these videos, I don`t get out as much as I should do and appear to have become a bit of a fair weather walker. ATB Dave.

7:19 Hang on... are those "free" range eggs? Or are they "free range" eggs where chickens are able to run about and cross roads and such, but one still has to pay for them? Has the UK finally adopted Universal Basic Eggcome... or is it just a pilot program in Derbyshire? I have questions. And why must I "CALL IN NOW"? Maybe I'm not ready to receive my egg allotment at the moment. Perhaps the later in the afternoon would be more appropriate. It all seems rather bossy to me. Thanks Patrick. Another nice walk.
