Rob McCall proving even in his early career that he could match his partner step for step and twizzle for twizzle, back in the days when that wasn't required of men in ice dance...they could get away with being the guy who held his partner's hand as she did all the fancy steps and twizzles. I'm glad the rules changed because there are a lot more men these days with the quality of Rob McCall and Michael Siebert.

Lisamarie Allen had a bad night here. She was usually so very spot-on and beautiful to watch.

I really liked her skating and Babs Rolls really worked miracles with her, especially in her choreo and presentation. But I can’t say I saw her deliver clean FS more than twice or maybe three times throughout her career…

They ruined figure skating forever 2014 was the last straw , for audience, world wide after the Olympics 2014 . scandal.miss seeing the 5'7 and 5'9 now you get 60.00 style and 90.00 for elementary.not the same

@@redd605 I miss it too! I understand the reasoning...sort of, behind the change. But for the audience, it's exciting to wonder whether the skater will impress each judge, or not. So the skaters now are just racking up points, but their choreography looks horrible! There's no sense of a performance or a program, between each jump it just looks like a lot of awkward bending sideways and bizarre turns for no reason. Even the wonderful Yuna Kim - I can't watch her skate either. Bend, bend, bend, it's very robotic-looking. I'd much rather watch a skater who could spin and perform, say like a Lucinda Ruh-type skater, than these jumping machines that we have now.

1:10:20 …and this beautifully delivered, technically superb FS only placed 3rd…behind Poetzsch, who was worse than Watanabe in every way from the edge quality, flow, fluidity, rapport with the audience, to the quality/difficulty of jumps, no less.

Первыми должны быть быть Моисеева и Миненков. Что признал гл. судья по танцам ISU на этом чемпионате Лоуренс Демми ( 4-х кратный чемпион мира и двукратный чемпион Европы по танцам га льду) Но интриги Чайковской и родной федерации фигурного катания сделали свое черное дело. Спустя годы это все выяснилось, что не красит Чайковскую и чиновников из Минспорта. Комментарии под другими видео этой пары тому свидетели. Моисеева и Миненков выиграли народное голосование сквозь годы.

BOY poetch was really not very good linda should have been higher but lurtz was from germany im sure the politics was playing a big part of that!

Yeah it's weird...Linda was 2 places lower than Lurz in CP (30% of score) but 1 place higher in SP (20% of score)...so Linda would have been a bit behind sure, but then Linda was FOUR PLACES HIGHER than Lurz in LP (50% of score). And that didn't bump her up higher?????? THIS DOES NOT MAKE MATHEMATICAL SENSE AT ALL
