It’s back under the spotlight after over three years! This is the 1980s Solaray 6” desk fan, model PF-6. It appears to be made by Tatung though this is an uncommon variant with the blue blades. In the first video, it was only shown running on low speed as it was missing the switch knob. I temporarily stole the knob from the brown 9” Mastercraft fan to demonstrate both speeds this time. The fan itself is in decent cosmetic condition but the motor bearings are badly worn out from the unbalanced blades, just like the 1994 6” Super. Though it runs, it shakes and rattles like there’s no tomorrow. But it’s surprisingly powerful! This was one of my earliest vintage fan finds so it‘s still a special one for me. Thanks for watching!
