Nice insight on the "81" split season. Perhaps if Donruss issued a Dodger "Fernando" rookie card (like Topps), it would have made the set more interesting.

Good choices for your 10 best cards of the set. Their initial set wasn't that good like Fleers, but both companies improved their cards over the years.

Pretty crummy sets in 81. They weren't exactly welcomed, let's say we tolerated them. Lol

It's where I started, and I wasn't a baseball fan at the time. They all felt pretty dreary to me, but they sure do bring the nostalgia these days!
