I am from Singapore and rode motorbike most of my life. I got one of this(a used bike) with the original red colour. Top speed is around 120kph. Rode it from Singapore, thur the whole length(south to north) of Malaysia and crossed the border into Thailand. Reached the capitol(Bangkok) on the third day. Fool around in Pattaya beach and beer drinking at the bar at night. Headed north toward ChiengMai and up the highest mountain(mount Inthano) and was stopped at the Thai Army Base entrance. The return trip back to Singapore was normal. The bike was trusty and never break down. All I did changed the oil before the journey, and lupe the drive-chain along the way. This lone trip - a single bike carry 2 person(total weight around 300 pound..including 2 over-night luggage). It is a very strong bike - trusty & reliable.. the down side is -- top speed is only 120 kph.. and the 23 inches front tire is NOT EASILY AVAILABLE.

As soon as you fired her up I knew that sound once again...oh Christ it is 38 years since my Red ( kinda orangey red c/W the Honda stripes I think ) T Reg 250 was last seen disappearing into France albeit with some ‘ combat ‘ paint job done by the new owner Jeff . I’d got her for either £ 280 or 320 from a small bike dealer in Ashley Rd Branksome Poole SW England in 1981 when just 18yrs old to do the road round trip of college in Poole and home 26 miles away in new forest. Never let me down once except lack of fuel ! God I wish I’d kept her along with the other shit that’s somehow survived in the sheds or roof from those days. Thanks for this . I want another one 😳❤️new forest pixies
