well u didn't get to see much from da old stadium bc 81 was the last year. The had that DOME in in 82..I'm 62 n a die hard vikings Fan. I loved the 70's Vikings. But..80's was cool when WR Anthony Carter was drafted. He was a Bad MF jack. But I loved when they played inda cold weather.

It had to be a bit surreal for Page to be wearing a Bears jersey, at Metropilitan stadium. How could he not be thinking about all those games, sportin purple? The only other originals were Yary and Bud. That had to be a little weird.

Back when the Bears had Walter Payton and little else. Hampton, Wilson and Fencik are there but the rest of the D is poor, I think I saw Mike Singletary on special teams, maybe his rookie year?

Yes it was Singletary's rookie season. He got his first NFL start in Week 8 vs San Diego, but was promptly benched after he called a timeout before the second play of that game.
