Had Nick Collins got hurt that year and had Jennings been 100 percent healthy going into the playoffs, I honestly feel that the Packers would've repeated. One of the greatest offenses ever

Man-o-man..what should have been 😔.Its amazing how many great teams we’ve had with Farve and Rodgers,it’s a shame that we couldn’t collect a couple more trophies, but it’s been a fantastic ride. Great time to be a Packers fan. We’ve been blessed. GO PACK GO!!!

They were bringing up the points and yards the Packers’ D gave up that season, but most of the points and yards were in the 4th quarter with an 18 point lead. If you only account for the points the D gave up and give them credit for the points they scored directly off turnovers, they gave up about 3 points a quarter for the first 3 quarters. Then when they had an average lead of 3 scores, they gave up a lot of clock burning drives that ran the opponents out of time. You can afford to give up a 7 minute TD drive when the opponents needs 3 of them and only has 10 minutes left. When your offense is putting up an average of 35 points a game, the opponent trying to run the ball is like trying to win a drag race with a tractor. Playing nickel and dime package D leaves you weak against the run, but as soon as they drop back to pass, you take the ball away. Eventually, every team had to abandon the run to try and keep up with the Packers’ offense.

Agreed. The 2011 defense gave up too much yards even if they got a ton of turnovers. And there was no running game for us.

A lot of people complain about the Packer's D in the 2011 season. This game, up until the 4th quarter, is actually a pretty good example of how they played the first 3 quarters on D in most games. They only gave up a TD after a turnover gave the Vikings a short field, they scored on a turnover and they had a huge lead going in to the 4th quarter. The difference is, they didn't give up a bunch of garbage time yards and points in this game. They averaged getting to a 18 point lead in the 4th quarter before going prevent and allowing an average of just over 9 and almost half their total yards. Leaving their average margin of victory about 8.5. If they had played all 4 quarters with the game on the line, they would have averaged around 12 net points per game. Which is points surrendered by the D minus points scored by the D. So for the first 3 quarters, they were one of the best Ds in the league and in the 4th averaging an 18 point lead, played the most prevent in the league. Which forced teams to make risky throws down field and ago for it on 4th down. Which is why the Packers took the ball away 50 times, including on downs.

If these Vikings would practice and perfect their fundamentals, they wouldn't have to cheat on every play. Makes you wonder if their entire practice time is spent perfecting their stupid touchdown celebrations.
