One of the most beautiful cars ever built😍❤️the constructor of the engine was Professor Indra from Vienna(330HP!!! A 911 Turbo at this time had 260HP!) Indra constructed very other famous engines: Opel 2.0 16V XE20, Audi 5 Cylinder Turbo, Opel 2,0 Turbo, 3,0 24V Dual-Ram etc… My godfather of constructing best engines!❤️

love the research that went into this video... eighties cars are pretty interesting when it comes to history since it was the beginning of "global" cars. I'm not so much of a BMW guy, but I l'm so impressed that this guy really went through the right channels to find out about the car

Wow, Pierburg injection, the early 80's race prep Audi quattros used this type of injection... That is a very nice car, E23 chassi.

blkcoupequattro it's an e24. E23s were 1st gen 7 series sedans (1977 to 1987) not 6 series coupes.

I own a E28 535i and i bought an Interieur Pack in ebay including the same seats Recaro Idealseat C and the alpina door panels..... they are out of an B7 turbo :-)!!!! Yes the rear bumper is the quickest way to tell it's an E12-based E24. I'm sorry, but all of these 80s Bimmers done by Alpina had their appearance trashed by those godawful fugly stripes. ( I wouldn't have been surprised if they had complimented those stripes with a plaid vinyl roof.) I wish someone would step up and remove them. But of course that would debase the value for the purists. It kind of reminds me if the Emperor's New Clothes. Just change "But he's naked!" to "But it's ugly!"

As i know your Alpina Motor bases on the M30. This is a 2 Valve Version instaed of the M1 or M635CSi which are 4 Valve Engines (24V), that erliest came out in 1983/1984. But instead you are turbocharged :D
