I had that same boat…came with a 65 then I got a Suzuki oil injected 140 with some crazy prop and it did like 78…I was the beast of the series of canals by my house

What is the 16' rated for? I got a 74 v1500 I'm restoring and it's getting a 96 evinrude intruder 115. Boat weighs 580 lbs. I see the tag says 105hp. Hope it looks as good as yours

I got the same boat mine is a 84 with a 175hp Mariner ....without a jack plate i have seen 71mph on gps with a 23p ......

If that's a 170SS, I have the same year and model. I get 62mph with a 135hp with a 22" LazerII prop, Fun boat.
