Had this exact bike! Color and all! Bought it brand new, bought its big brother CB1100F..loved them both! Back in the day they both were hammers, but I truly fell in love with the 1100! Seeing this brought back a ton of memories!! All good!! Good times, the good Ole days....

I love these bikes. I have an 83 cb1100f that was given to me a few years ago that sat in a friend's basement for like 8 years. 20k miles on it. It took a couple years to get running again. Been a blast to ride in these West Virginia hills ever since.

I had a CX 650 custom in 83 .. Loved it . shaft drive.....and water cooled. Also comstar wheels. Original price just about $3,500 with tax out the door.. These 1980s Honda bikes would be a good rival for any Royal Enfield sold today. Just look at the specs and shop around 🤘😎

Spend some time to fix it up.🤔

Beautiful bike. I had an 81' CB750k and an 80' CB 750F in the same colors. Always wanted the 900F though.

That was my first streetbike, my dad bought it new in 82 and only put about 2k miles on it before giving it me. Mine was that same paint scheme. Top heavy by today's standards but a great bike!

Had one in my teens, loved it & did 65k miles, my God they are heavy though compared to modern bikes, I have 3 CB900f's now, including an identical US supersport😁😁 Scary to think Honda are offering more big twins than fours, buy a big four while you still can, before the world goes any madder !😂😂👍👍

I had the same bike. Added cafe racer bars, a shoei 1/4 ferring and a 4-in-1 exhaust with a supertrap.

22 year old checking in. I know where an all original one of these is. It sits abandoned. Flat tires, rusty brakes, minor ding in a tailpipe. Well broken in. Needs a lot of love but it’s save able. Tried to contact the owner, for a year. Registration expired, thought about reporting it as abandoned. Still sits on a public side street. Been months since I’ve seen it, moved outta town. Hopefully it’s still there.

Bought this same color bike new in 82 at a dealership in Phoenix, NY. Wanted the CBX but didn't want the fairing so instead went with the 900.

Bought mine new, as a "left over" in 1985. Smoothest motor, but the frame flex was intolerable. Reason all manufacturers went to perimeter frames. Another gripe, valve clearance adjustments were much more necessary than similar vintage common Jap 4's of the era. All of that said, never should have sold her, but we have only so much space.

Hey Kap I used to love these bikes. What I did HATE though was from 80-82 the govt restricted the speedo to 85 mph which truly sux. 83 we got the regular 150 speedo's mostly and pre 80 was also better. In my humble opinion they are indeed classics BUT a 600 in todays age will blow them off the road.
