Looks like there is trouble with the drivers rear window and that transmission skipped third gear when you first left the lot.

ive got exactly same model, exceot mine is an -83 and i dont have leather, power windows, power antenna, ac, sunroof, cruise control, or automatic, but thats the best, nothing can ever break. wish i had a sunroof though.
