This body style right up to 1995 s the style I would buy. Mercedes were a different manufacturer back then, style and reliability was first and foremost. actually the models earlier than this were also reliable, I personally prefer the models from the 1980's to 1995. Thanks for sharing this particular vehicle.

@@TheVintageBlake I am in Australia. Fortunately we have very few areas that have snow, and we do not salt our roads. Provided vehicles are protected from the sun, the worst we have is faded clear coat on the body, and cracked dashboards. Rust is really not an issue. We have plenty of vehicles that are many, many decades old that are still daily drivers. Of course we have enthusiasts that preserve their vehicles and drive them sparingly. I have been looking for a Mercedes in the year range I mentioned above, preferably a diesel, though I would have a petrol. I am being picky because there are so many “ready to drive” examples here.
