@@kelvinarreola cant agree more .. rumors has it as long as you keep adding oil on them engins they will run for ever😈✌ My car is stock to the bone 2e carburator engine manual transmission , other than the deep dish rims stretch tyres and the angel eye head lights.. You inspire me to go forward brother👑 Keep up the good work💫 am planing to go for hydroulics setup & once its done swaping 4EFTE under the hood..

I have one of these ...im third owner second was my mom first was her dear departed friend ...and its made of frankenstein parts internally..MG inline FP , coronet headlights, cant even find the yellow outer light lens for these, but it runs

If Bernies is the Corolla Tercel model. My neighbors daighter had one in lite blue while my sis had the 81 Corolla Wagon in the 89 to 93 timeframe. If the dads trusted their late teen daughters in them they must be good n reliable.

I got one too. Swapped the auto for a 4 speed manual. 1980 red 2 door. No parts to be found make everything costom lol

You have no idea!!! I have an 81 Tercel/corolla... Got it from Gramps. First car I owned. This was in about 97... Since 1997, I’ve driven it off and off. Since about 2005, it has set in a garage... (it has already sit in a garage since 1981.... I hate to be this asshole on the internet... but, I LOVE YOUR CAR.and I might be the only one that has one is in the ball park as good as yours... Mines a 2 door, but blah, blah. ,blah ...thank you

You can, but it’s a lot of work. Fuel tank is directly in the way of the rear axle and diff, also the drive shaft tunnel is not tall enough so you either have to drop the crossmember down and back or you have to fabricate a tunnel in the cab unfortunately. So if you can’t fabricate, it’s 10/10 not worth it

Haha… “4age swap… when that engine goes…” good luck. They run forever. I literally just picked one of these clean in a junk yard. I have some parts. Not sure what I’m gonna use but I may have leftovers if I do t save em for spares.
