Hey Guys!! Sorry for the late reply. I visited this page when the first day it was posted and saw a few replies. A few months past and there's 124k+ views...wow!!. Thank you Moto Channel for letting me share my bike build. It was a fantastic experience. I was nervous and frankly a little shy.....still am. Thank you all for the encouragement and positive replies. I'll reply to as many questions as I can. Cheers.

Usually, even if I like a bike, there's something I'd want to change, the color or the tank or seat or whatever, but I see next to nothing I'd change on this bike. It's just about perfect.

I only can wish I could have a bike like this one day. It really is a beautiful cool looking bike!

About a year ago I've started to collecting parts and suff for that bike. Now I have almost everything. just got the wheels built. It took about 5 month to find parts jus for wheel set. Now i'm really happy that can start working on other things once wheels are installed! Thanks for sharing a good experience!

This is proof that a cafe Racer doesn't have to be a Honda CB, even thou I am building one. All you need is creativity. This is inspiring and motivating......

I really like that machine. Every little detail is just right.

Nice job, I love cafe-racer conversions. Those tank caps used to be everywhere in Italy, back in the '70s and '80s, as many constructor would resort to third parties for tanks, forks, seats and every item they could not make in-house. I even had one just like that on my first bike, a Gilera 5V Trial 50 cc. I shall have a look around just in case I can find one for you.

*Beautiful conversion*, the attention to detail has paid off. _So often conversions are wrecked by not knowing when_ _to stop, where far to much detail is added_. *Well done*. _Great bike for California or here in Australia_ _where it doesn't rain as often as North America_.

Thank you for telling where you got stuff. This is the sickest cafe build I've seen on youtube so far. The only thing I would change...front fender man! How are you going to ride in the rain! I know, you probably won't get caught in the rain but it does happen.

I'm a big fan of the slight off white color on anything from a car truck... motorcycle. I always used a 58 Ford white it was easy to mix. I'm also a big fan of the Yamaha block stripes and the insignia. I think your choice of the tank made the bike of course the rear wheel was real jewel especially for the hard line Virago owners.
@ianstradian6 жыл бұрын
Very nice work sir... Impressive. Someone gave me a Virago that had electric issues, I got it sorted out but because I had two other bikes it never got ridden, one of my neighbors was a single mom with a 16 year old son, so I knew he needed a mode of transportation so I gave it to him. To the best of my knowledge he kept it into his freshman year in college. Not sure what happened to the bike after that, I hope someone is still riding it.
