Depends on what you want to do to the engine and trans. My trans was a C6 in perfect condition. Although I replaced almost everything electrical I only put a new Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock 4 brl carb on the engine. I did put new Jegs hydraulic flat tappet cam in as well. With all that along with body work which I did myself and paint I put $3400 into the truck. I also put new carpet and recovered the seat for the cost. The flooring is all new but I restored the door panels and dash myself. Had a local company recover the seat then purchased the seat cover from LMC Truck. Most of the parts ordered during the restore came from LMC Truck, they seem to have a lot of the parts needed. However; the trim pieces are almost impossible to get. I had to restore almost all of the trim but found a few pieces that weren't in too bad of shape at a local junk yard. Just have to keep your eyes open for folks that have old ford trucks the same year sitting in their yard. If the truck is just sitting and they don't have plans to restore it they will usually take some cash for parts. The new engine parts all came from Summit Racing which included JEGS cams, Edelbrock performer 351 intake as well as Edelbrock 4 brl carb.
