Natural ash. I call it the Disco finish. Looks great with maple and black plastic.

1983 last vintage year. These P-Bass were basic but doing the job. They're rare but available at fair prices.

I remember when these were available new for around $850. They were considered an improvement on the mid-to-late 70s Fenders they replaced. Aging has only improved the tone, it seems.
