@@yourkiwimate But I ran my first and second marathon in Dallas 1999 and the Boston in April 2000. I saw Rosa Mota in Boston 5k run. I took a picture of her.

@yourkiwimate We are all men. Not everyone can run. Find your talent and help the world to be a better place and then you will have a mind of peace. The rain falls on our shoulders to make life more memorable like it did when Rod Dixon won NYC marathon in 1983. We weathered through the storms of all this chaos of the world. It makes us better men in doing so with character. God bless you.

Marty was a great commentator for distance running. As far as American commentators for distance running go, I say he is the best. But he was wrong about an Englishman winning the Chicago Marathon at 16:10 onward. Joseph Nzau of Kenya beat Hugh Jones of Great Britain by half a second.
