The 3.0ltr SC is not an 930. The 930 was the internal code for the Turbo which was first produced in 1975.

Ohhhhhhhhhh man! So glad I watched this. I was askeert this was going to turn into a "restomod" raping of an iconic Porsche. As quite a few "restomod" builders do to cars. Most of em are horrible. Very nice rework of the 930. Thx for sharing.
@allensaunders4494 жыл бұрын
Maybe you just have no raste. Those restomods you hate are reimagining these cars at the end of there original life. To make them better then they ever were. Most old cars aren't as wonderful to drive as some pretend

Just to get a general idea, how much would it cost to restore a car like this to ORIGINAL condition, nothing new added, and nothing done to the engine that is not purely aesthetic.

Nice work . . . and fortunately music you can listen to and enjoy the clip . . .well done. Especially the color scheme from the interior and the 356 style carpet. . . thats my personal highlight. I hope you reconsider the choice of the headlights . . . its like a face with too much surgery . . . but really well done anyway . . . enjoy the ride . . . By the way I have a 1983 Porsche 911 SC with cams from the 964 . . . 230 HP on dyno. Do you have any numbers from the power of the engine ? . . . fuel injection looks very interesting

car is still modified as 73 RS backdate with green rims and decals . . . will do some optic changes to come closer to the 1967 R . . . as close as you can get with the SC arches . . . clip will follow after the cosmetic changes . . .

After doing a similar g body project I’d guess $100K+. When you touch every single piece in the car it adds up quick. To put it in perspective just the rotisserie paint job will run $20K minimum. 930 brakes $9K. Then there’s labor for the build. You could save a bit doing it all yourself but would you do as good of a job as a pro restoration shop? I
