That is beautiful. I am happy to know that a car like this still exists I had an 84 same color with 229 V6 A/C Full gauges. I took my senior photo with it. I have an 84 SS now

i have fond memories of a car very similar to this. my grandpa's last car before he died was a 1982 monte carlo, my dad bought the car off of my grandmother and he drove it for quite a few years. i always like that car. i was a little kid at the time. i remembered the sound of the quadrajet secondaries opening up when he opened it up on the highway. the say progress, but the most current cars are nothing but electronic junk. they even have sound systems to emulate engine sounds...... LOL. its not the same thing, in fact it's stupid. nothing can replace the sound and torque of a V8.

In my honest opinion, these Monte Carlo and the cutlass where the best looking models on the G- body platform. They’re very versatile and they make a perfect cruiser, I’m hoping to find one for cheap before they skyrocket in price. Beautiful car indeed 😎

Mine was an 84, white with burgundy half top. 305 engine. Split tail pipes screaming in the back. One of my best memories was going from Illinois to Louisiana and back hauling ass all the way and with no problems.

I have my dad’s mint 86 in Rosewood metallic with burgundy interior and SS gauge package. The 305 is just a cruiser, would love to put a 350 in sometime but the car only has 72K miles. Great looking cars and rarely seen as everyone wants an SS instead.

back when people lit cigarettes and cigars with the cigarette lighter. Have to admit, it looks like a 1976 car design dressed up a little bit for being 8 years newer, but that's a lot of stuff now (toyota probably changes their most common cars about once every 10-15 years).
