Truly Amazing restoration... Looks exactly like my old 85' ...l sure do miss that thing... Sometimes I actually dream about still having it...l have a 90 Prostar now but it doesn't have the Soul like my 85 did.

I see you have removeable swim last from brackets.. how does that work with the tie down loops right above the platform??

Did you rebuild the trailer too? I like the crank system, but our 1982 mastercraft has a drive-up method and only my husband is comfortable doing it. Also, was the upholstery originally blue? I've been looking for as close to original vinyl with no success.

I don't know of any originals plastic ones but a company called Barton Fabrication in Montana was making an aluminum replacement.

Autotrend EFI interested to know where you got speedos and tach. Also do you have the specs for all the billet stuff you fabricated?

Speedos are old Airguides that I refurbished and converted to GPS and the rest of the gauges are Classic Instruments. All the stuff I reproduced out of billet are one offs

Nice tug! Where did you get the distributorless ignition system from?

Basic off the shelf parts, trigger wheel, cam sync and LS coils and then control them with the Holley EFI computer. I own and EFI company, Autotrend EFI

Unfortunately these were very one off pieces with lots of mods to the program to get them to fit correctly. A machinist friend did them as a favor for me. Not something easy to recreate. There is a guy who produces a metal set. Google Barton Fabrication and you will find him.

Sorry to disappoint you with the sound of my voice and the fact that I use this boat a lot. Not afraid to put it in the water. Not a trailer queen. This boat has been a dream of mine for 30 years so yeah, sorry that I wanted to make it nicer than show room condition.
