This was a tremendous effort by a Giants defense that was getting better and better. It was obvious that Belichick's game plan was to make Jeff Kemp beat them by throwing the ball.

many great linebacker groups -- 70s steelers, recent niners, and yes saints, but not only this particular quartet -- which is THE best in nfl history, banks, reasons, carson and taylor -- but over the entire history of the franchise, the giants have the best overall collection of linebackers in nfl history -- check not only the famous names but other outstanding LBs such as andy headen, byron hunt, johnie cooks, pepper johnson, steve deossie etc etc

Dickerson the best back in Football, Rams have goal to to go at the 3, Madden says "just give the Ball to Dickerson every time the rest of the game", Robinson decides to give the ball to crutchfield for a loss and then ends of throwing on 3rd, nothing there, ends up with just a field goal, that's your ball game, stupid play calling
